Zume Pizza the robot produced pizza that would revolutionize the pizza world by eliminating the store and have a production facility using a hybrid robot and human production line with trucks that will finish the cooking process while being delivered.

Somehow this place that covers only parts of Silicon Valley (San Mateo, Palo Alto, San Jose, Mt. View & Pleasanton) pulled in $375M from Softbank on a $4B valuation 2 months ago.  Fast forward to today.  It is being reported that Zume has laid off 80% of their staff.

Zume pulled a $4B valuation for covering only 5 cities in the Bay Area, been loosing $50M/year.  Dominos by contrast has 16,000 stores in 85 countries, makes a net profit of $80M+/year and only has a market cap of $11B.  Maybe Dominos could go to Softbank and ask for a valuation based on Zume model.  Dominos must be worth Trillions.

I remember the day Webvan shut down during the bubble (Softbank investment). There was panic in many start up CEOs eyes.  But hey everything is different now right.  There is no Bubble...Complete BS...Oh speaking of BS shall we discuss Tesla's valuation?
