San Francisco proclaims the image of being the smartest people in the room.  Must be with human waste and used needles covering the streets. They live up to the image of being enlightened.  To add insult to injury, the report from NBC Bay Area that 400 restaurants closed last year (2019). Many famous spots are now gone after decades in business.  The reasons provided covered, increase in food cost, rent, the "High Cost" of San Francisco.

But the root cause of the closing of the restaurants......those bloody tech companies that are providing food and wine to their employees for free.  That is the reason for these massive losses.  It's the tech companies that pushed the small businesses over the edge.  Don't mind the SF Minimum Wage law that moved everyone to $15/hour.  That did not have an impact. It just helped people.  But those tech companies offering free food and wine, that is the reason.

Stupidity alive and well. Nothing to see here.
