Bloomberg identified an interesting trend between US and Canadian public Marijuana producers. The Canadians are running out of Cash. Some are to less than 3 months of cash. The conversation is now how to raise the cash. Are equity markets out of the question? May be if now consolidation or outright failure is required. 
Hershel Gerson makes the following observation
I think people are looking for quality management teams that can effectuate a turnaround and have experience operating in a tighter environment than some of these early C-level teams.
Considering the cash positions for each of these companies and the suggestion of effective turnaround players, is it time to call the cartels in to help them through??
